Dr Vip Patel is from the UK, having grown up in London and completing his medical training at Southampton University in 1992. He gained extensive hospital experience including Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), before embarking on a career in General Practice.
Dr Patel has 20 years of experience working as a full time GP. Initially in the UK as a partner in a large teaching practice in Oxfordshire before migrating to Australia with his wife and 2 children in 2009.
He has been working as a GP on the Gold Coast since 2010
He enjoys all aspects of family medicine with particular interests in Men’s Health, Diabetes, Heart Disease and Hypertension, Child Health, and Preventative Medicine.
